For Breeding
Our Katahdin Sheep
We raise pure bred Katahdin sheep. Katahdins are a hair sheep lamb which means they do not need to be sheered as their coat sheds completely each spring. They are also more parasite resistant than most other sheep breeds and do better than most breeds on a less ideal pasture. They are a medium sized sheep with a great mothering instinct and lamb well with unassisted births. All of these traits make it the ideal sheep for the small homesteader.
If you are interested in acquiring some of our Katahdins, please shoot us a email.
